Finally, PhD done!

Finally, PhD done….I am so glad to announce that I have successfully completed my Ph.D in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management with a cgpa of 5.0/5.0 !!

This journey has indeed been challenging. Amidst the ASUU strike extending this program for almost 2 sessions, the turbulent waters at one of my study locations in the Lagos lagoon that almost submerged the speed boat during one of my field trips, a full time job and 4 active sons. Sometimes, I wondered how I managed to scale through.

I want to give special thanks to my supervisors, Prof Bayo Otitoloju and Dr Babatunde Emmanuel, my HOD Prof Saliu, HOD Botany Prof Caroline Umebese, Dr Nnamdi Amaeze, Mr Uzo Ejimadu and all faculty of science staff of the University of Lagos for their unrelenting support.

I’m forever grateful to my wonderful husband and sons for their prayers, love and understanding during this tough period. I appreciate my mum, my late dad, siblings and my in-laws for their unrelenting support and encouragement.

To my awesome colleagues the Global Oceon Family for their awesomeness and Finally to Jehovah Almighty for giving me the grace to stay through to the end.

Today wouldn’t have been possible without all your support.
